Schneider Engineering LTD. (SE) has extensive experience in all aspects of distribution engineering. SE specializes in the following distribution engineering services:

Distribution Line Design: Design and management of all types of distribution projects including new overhead distribution lines or underground lines, line extensions, rebuilds, reroutes, voltage conversions, conductor upgrades, subdivisions and industrial parks. Includes wood, concrete and steel pole line design.

Project Management Services: Our project management services are designed to partner with our Clients as an extension of staff to ensure that projects are completed on-time and on-budget. From project inception, SE can develop a detailed project schedule and project budget to drive the engineering and construction effort. Construction Bidding and Contracting Services: Detailed project specifications, bid preparation, bid evaluations and project management so Clients get the correct project specifications, a professional bid document, competitive bids and the right contractor for the job—all at the most cost-effective price.

Construction Coordination and Inspection: Management of all phases of the construction process including coordination with contractors and inspection of all work. The result is a successful project and quality assurance for our Clients.

Regulatory and Permitting: Preparation and filing of the necessary permits (City, County, TxDOT, U.S. Army Corp of Engineers) and regulatory documentation required for all types of distribution projects.

Easement Procurement: Services include deed research, landowner contact and easement acquisitions. Our field technicians are certified Notaries—so easements are secured and the process managed.

Distribution Line Staking: Production of hand drafted or computer staking software generated staking sheets with conventional or GPS-based staking for our Clients. Newly acquired GPS-based equipment streamlines the process and enhances the cost efficiency of this service.

Inspections: RUS 219 inspections, certifications, and NESC or other applicable code compliance inspections.
