Project Management

Our project management services are designed to partner with you as an extension of your staff to ensure that projects are completed on-time and on-budget.  From project inception, our staff can develop a detailed project schedule and project budget to drive the engineering and construction effort.  Our resources and services in include the following:

Project Scheduling:  Development of a detailed project schedule to include major milestones.  Our project schedules are reviewed weekly to ensure that our projects remain on track for completion within the goals set out by our Clients.  Our project managers review our projects on a weekly basis for scheduling and engineering budgets to keep our projects on track and to ensure that the tasks that are important to our Clients get addressed.

Project Budgeting:  SE developed AUTOSPEC^TM a database and software system that provides our engineers with a detailed list of current market based construction costs and major material costs that allow us develop estimates of projected project construction costs based on recent completed projects.  Our database of substation, transmission, and distribution project costs are maintained throughout the year with completed projects to allow us to accurately estimate your projects prior to committing engineering effort.

Project Construction Services:  Our project managers remain involved in the projects following engineering to assist in the bidding phase, and the construction phase of the projects.  SE conducts comprehensive pre-bid and pre-construction meetings on site, and delivers timely construction tracking reports complete with digital photographs to inform our Clients of the progress on the site and also to maintain an up-to-date issues list to keep project schedules on track.
